Quarterback AJ McCarron is celebrating after scoring a one yard TD run against the Florida Gators

The Alabama Crimson Tide was able to defeat the Florida Gators on Saturday in convincing fashion. Trent Richardson thrust himself back into the Heisman trophy conversation with 181 yards on 29 carries. Florida was in the game until early in the fourth quarter when Alabama scored their fourth touchdown to go up 31-10 and added one more after that to put the game away for good. This was an all around dominant performance after the early touchdown allowed by the Alabama defense. AJ McCarron, Alabama's quarterback, didn't have the best game, but made enough plays to win, which is all Head Coach Nick Saban asks from him. Next week Alabama faces the Vanderbilt Commodores.
